Jeff has an extensive amount of experience in industrial machine design so he can understand complex mechanical designs and how components interact with each other.
Some examples:
- Evaluate the loads on a component or complex weldment and perform a stress analysis (Finite Element Analysis, FEA, Simulation) to ensure reliability.
- Determine the load carrying capacity of a unit.
- Size and select power transmission components including electric motors, reducers, belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, gears, cables, electric actuators, hydraulic cylinders/valves, pneumatic cylinders, airbags….
- Machine Safety review and remediation.
